Red light LED stimulates the fibroblasts that produce Collagen and Elastin. It easily penetrates the skin, boosts circulation bringing more blood and nutrients to the area, energizing and repairing damaged cells, giving the skin back its youthful look. Blue light LED works by killing the bacteria deep in the skin that is responsible for Acne. This light is tuned to activate chemicals known as Porphyrins, produced by acne bacteria P. acne. Activation of the porphyrins, in turn destroys the bacteria. Red light is also used for Acne as it stimulates collagen production, which reduces scars and helps repair the skin.
